lely

spruce for birthday dinner (:
the entrance looks a lil like ps @ dempsey. alfresco better than indoors. but we walked all the way from orchard, so aircon wins.
spinach and bacon salad. so gooooood.
signature spruce prawn pasta. i know it looks too green to taste nice, but it is.
signature spruce burger. got it done medium. damn juicy and damn filling.
parisian style omlette. the sour cream inside was shioook. tomatoes tasted nicer than your usuals. but prolly not what i would pay $19 for.
and then we walked to dempsey and then back to wheelock! big o!
baileys + cheesecake. woohoo.
i wanna go back to spruce for brunch!!!!!!! the menu looks uber good *salivates.

mousse

the bro's assorted bday cakes from blue magnolia. (: our combined birthday celebration at barracks. love the deco! the male washroom female.truffle fries! with smiley face sauce.
some of the dishes i rmb-ed to take a photo of.
old fashioned american sliders. burgers yummmm. house rib eye steak morrocan spiced baby chicken there was more egg white than cake (as in flour).. which made it super light and fluffy, pity not a personal favourite. the rest were full of praises though. patisserie nonetheless.

barracks was okay.. ambience was superb. cant say the same for service (snottiness was uncalled for).

tell tale

the mum's company had this mini amazing race thing where we had to drive around to complete tasks all for raising funds for charity. we drove from woodsbridge buangkok green medical park (sounds nice yeah?) to west coast park to upper seletar reservoir park to joo chiat.. we didnt have to do a bungy or unroll hay stacks, hence the lack of photos. but the pre-event was cool - bonus points were given to teams which decorated their cars..
mrs boss and jagaur. doggy was dressed as santa (:did someone say happy valentine's day? this was super ingenious. advertising for their co. while gaining points. dtz i think. nope we didnt attempt.but still won a prize anyways (:
the mum says its cos we wore red -.-"' the organisers were damn good. everything run like clockwork. pity it was just 3 pitstops... and i guess it would have been better if there were tasks everyone could contribute/particpate in. like for the older folks.

spark

been attending 1 year old birthdays recently.
either they coincidentally got the cake from the same place (pine garden!) or its the trend now...
so cute ah, elmo and all.
when i was one, my cake had the little red indian and i knew zilch about elmo.. my mum said it was the "awfully choc" of 1988.
