also attended a friend's wedding recently. in jb. quite a different experience from sg's i would say. attire, food wise.

remember that serangoon house featured in yahoo news? it wasnt as nice as i expected it to be.
and there is this relatively new bistro, im really reluctant to share for fear of it becoming too pops. but anyhows..

they do thai / north indian / western food, with a bar. similar to bar bar black sheep; merry men etc. what works for me is that its literally just a stone's throw away. walk there, walk back. good for metabolism and digestion (: corn was shioks. the brocolli is ginormous! like some mutant veggie.
