six thirty am. the start of 21k.
for the first 4k, i was thinking where i shld stop and head home.
for the next 17k, i felt like i wanted to finish the marathon. the volunteers were awesome! all those shouts of encouragement. and it felt good to litter legally (i.e. throwing the cups of evian/100plus by the side of the roads)!
other random phrases. i think the road markers were lying cos everytime they indicate 1 km more, i felt like i have ran more than that! after the finish line. pity i forgot to take the start point!! boo. pardon the blur photos. didnt realise there was a fog/sweat spot on my phone's cam..

so the marathon has taught me how to persevere (cliche as it sounds), how to tune out people's irritating noises (e.g. breathing heavily, dragging feet on road, timing beeps), how to push body limits and most importantly, how to concentrate on running my own race. (:
