(30secs per try, times 30 tries) giving up cos no knight in shining armor appeared to help. succumbed to chips, bridge and dai-di. another attempt at creating that effect (someone tell me what its called?) and also in the process doing more damage to the camera's lens.
joan was saying "face/turn there and turn back". took us quite a while to get what she meant. have u ever seen such exaggerating long kites?!

crawled out of bed on a sunday morning for this!pancakes!!!!! normally i dont ever touch whip cream, but this one was shiokkk. if only the blueberries were embedded (like cedele's)eggs benedict! mental note to try eggs florentine another time. and the Riders breakfast. you know how eggs are either scrambled/sunny side etc? they call this one "over easy".

two good things about the place, the non-existent gst and svs charge, and the mad excellent music (personal preferences la huh). service is good (will come round asking if everything's alright etc etc) and bad (the waiter doesnt really know his stuff). and u have to pay for water; and hold your breath when the wind blows. overall, food is "you pay peanuts, you get monkeys" (buttt u gotta try the spudster and wings!).

so the bro enlisted today. it was a whole afternoon affair at tekong. wanted to take a whole lot more photos, but got scared that they would confiscate the memory card if i took photos of some places i wasnt allowed to! so there.

looks like some kind of chalet huh. if only. hahah. oath taking etc. coffee shops. how do they make money when the recruits get free food everyday?sample of their daily meal. it was not bad actually. bet this would be the nicest meal they'll have. last chance for the parents to weep goodbye.and it's gonna be awfully quiet around the house these days....
