celebrations part IV
the place was kinda romantic. super nice ambience.. if not for some pple who were talking at the top of their voices like it was some kopitiam. everything was strawberry scented! the candles, the ice water, the air refreshner. hahah.
we did not colour coordinate our clothes! it just happened! telepathy among bffs?
we told the waiter to let us take a photo with the jug of water! with more strawberries pleaseee. i think he must have thought we were quite strange.
Lobster Bisque with Prawn and Scallops (the photo does no justice to the food). the soup was not alot... but the seafood were extremely fresh! thats an understatement.

Bucatinni carbonara (egg,parma ham) topped with crispy fried ham. the cheesy sauce was no ordinary cheese. veryyy nice. except that the ham was a little salty.
Spaghettini seafood (prawns, scallop, jumbo crab meat) alio olio pepperoncino (garlic, olive oil, chilli padi). it was angel hair.. so it rocked! as usual, the seafood........ extra-tremely fresh.
Crispy line sea bream layered on stewed Sicilian tomatoes, sauted baby spinach and arugula, infused with truffle leek sauce. the eyeballs rocked. (:
Tiramisu. creamy but not like whip cream. which was great! haha and on the house cos they wanted to apologize for taking so long to serve the main courses. it was really FOREVER.. average wait 30mins per dish. they put the blame on the cook for being picky.. and cooking everything from scratch. ok lors. but i have to admit the food was pretty good.
