through tainted lenses

my first gelare tuesday waffles! so much for the special k plan. at least now if they decide to pull out of sg again, i'd have tried them!

i wouldnt say its something to shout about. this ice cream was chocolately enough, the waffles wasnt bad but they could have been done better (just a little too hollow for my liking)! that said, ice cream & waffles combi can hardly go wrong.

anyone knows a good pancake stand? a little desperate here.

on a separate note, i need a new camera. disposable income has gone up so its time to get a pro-er cam aka a semi pro. looking at:-

1) nikon L110 or P6000 (s3000 looks not bad for a normal digi). im a nikon fan through and through.

2) canon's powershot S90. jack of all trades. but given the price, i can easily get a tougher semi pro. or SX210 IS. canon's website is so user unfriendly compared to nikon's! too much animations dude. sure its interactive and all, but just keep it simple.

3) olympus pen series looks good too. only becos of their art filter effects. but they dont state the prices.
time to hit the IT fair. u know how much i love crowds.

someone once asked if anything had happened between our meet ups, and i said 'nothing memorable'. on hindsight (30 seconds later), i'd think how pathetic my life was. i should be doing something! [given my motto allegedly is 'one life, live it'.]

now i can yell, it's been a week since down under. loved it there. penguins koalas kangoos and all, but we gotta move on. (oh how i wish i could live there for a while...) one week on, i received news of being seconded to HP (only my fav pavilion entertainment PC, not.) for 2 months. half scared/worried half excited. so there i'll be. while my friends at work alienate me 'cos 1) they'll be temporary taking over my cases 2) out of sight, out of mind. other than cursing at me while doing up the tax comps. not that there will be plenty to do anyways.

i'll get to doing a summary of the awesome trip soon. if u cant wait, go stalk my fb!
